Bloomfield College's Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Education Program prepares individuals to enter the field of education to teach at the elementary or secondary levels in the state of New Jersey. Individuals with a bachelor's degree and a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 are eligible to apply.
Enroll in the program and:
- be eligible for NJ Teacher Certification in 18 months
- study with a highly acclaimed faculty, who have extensive experience teaching and administering in urban school districts
- benefit from a challenging and rigorous curriculum that weaves together theory and practice, learning and assessment
- acquire the skills, strategies and techniques needed to work with diverse student populations in our multicultural, multiracial society
Enjoy a flexible schedule, attending classes that:
- meet on weekends during the fall, winter and spring trimesters
- complete student teaching during the day
- convene on Friday evenings, 5pm to 10pm, and Saturdays, 9am to 4:30pm
