Adjunct faculty are valued members of the Bloomfield College community. Adjunct faculty enhance the richness of the learning environment through the experiences you bring to the students and through expanded course offerings which are possible because of your special expertise. The mission of the Adjunct Institute is to support adjunct faculty in providing a high quality teaching and learning environment. The goal is to achieve this mission by providing the resources, mentoring, and professional development opportunities needed for you to develop excellence as instructors and experts in your discipline. In addition, it is our goal to provide opportunities for faculty to learn about the Bloomfield College mission and culture.

The Adjunct Institute publishes the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, offers a professional development workshop series, manages a Blackboard site dedicated to adjunct faculty, arranges mentoring, and has print resources available.
