Three-Level College Program
English as a Second Language (Intensive English-only program)
English for Academic Purposes for Second Language Learners I (Along with mathematics courses)
English for Academic Purposes for Second Language Learners II (Along with other College courses)
College Credit for English for Academic Purposes for Second Language Learners (EAP)
Bloomfield College offers elective college credit for graduation for the EAP I and EAP II courses.
Admission
Applicants may submit an official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 63 or better on the computer test (equal to 350 on the former paper test). Students may substitute an equivalent score on the standardized English test given by the Bloomfield College EAP Program. Freshmen must submit proof of high school graduation or GED and an official transcript with acceptable grades. Transfer students must provide an official transcript from the last school they attended.

Various programs are available for students to improve their skills in speaking, reading, and grammar.
