WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?

Chiropractic is the largest, natural, primary health care profession in the United States today. It is a branch of the healing arts which is concerned with human health and prevention of disease. Doctors of Chiropractic are physicians who consider people as integrated beings, giving special attention to spinal biomechanics, and musculoskeletal, neurological, vascular and nutritional relationships.

DOCTORS OF CHIROPRACTIC...

...use a wide range of diagnostic procedures, standard with all health care professions, to determine the patient's needs;

...address patients' neuromuscular or vascular disorders through manipulation or adjustments;

...provide counsel about correct posture, exercise and nutrition; and

...refer patients to appropriate specialists, like other general practitioners, when they identify problems outside the scope of their practice.
