In addition to the courses listed below, which are the requirements for the major, students are also responsible for general education courses which are found on pages 57-61.
For Sociology majors, the two Social Science requirements are included in the major. MTH110 can satisfy the Mathematics requirement.
Students wishing to be eligible for a New Jersey Teaching Certificate must be admitted into the B.A. in Education and satisfy the courses listed in the Sociology co-concentration (see pages 157-158). Should a student decide to major in the discipline exclusively, he/she will need to submit a change of major declaration and satisfy all the requirement listed below. Students who wish to double major must complete the requirements of both majors.
