The Running Man can be seen everywhere, seemingly all at once. Whether it is in the Library, the Student Center, the gym or the dorms, Lawi is always moving… fast.

He has a smile that lights up Liberty Street and a calm demeanor you would not expect from a determined collegiate athlete. Lawi is a jack-of-all-trades who is coming into his own at Bloomfield College.

Lawi arrived in the United States in 2004 and attended a small, Jesuit University in West Virginia for one year before transferring to Bloomfield College on a full athletic scholarship. His desire to run for a competitive NCAA Division II Cross Country program and major in Business Administration led him to Bloomfield, and he hasn’t stopped moving forward since. He is able to balance a strenuous workload, while exceeding in both the classroom and on the track.
