What is the purpose of the Pre-NLN entrance exam?
- To evaluate your academic ability in order to identify the most qualified applicants.

What is the goal of the ESP program?
This program is designed to improve the overall passing rate on the Pre-Admission NLN exam and to enhance the success of more students in the nursing program.
Objectives of the program are:
- To get pre-nursing students adequately prepared for the Pre-NLN exam through constant practice on test materials.
- To help pre-nursing students to discover the link between the current courses that they are enrolled in and the Pre-NLN exam.
- To help pre-nursing students overcome test anxiety through mastery of the subject matter.
- To inculcate into the pre-nursing students proper study habits that would serve as a platform for success in the nursing program.
- To improve your vocabulary, not just to score well on the test, but to become a better reader and a more effective communicator.
Required textbook:
Review Guide for RN Pre-Entrance Exam, 2 nd Edition, Edited by Mary E. McDonald.
Other materials needed: Dictionary
