Mission Statement
The office of Career Services located at 12 Austin Place is dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to develop professional excellence and a commitment to service within a multicultural and global society. In order to strengthen the links between a liberal education, professional goals, and community service, we:
- Serve the needs of all constituencies by providing a Comprehensive Career Development Process, delivering exceptional service to students, parents, faculty, community agencies and employers.
- Offer pre-professional development options through on and near campus student employment, internships and volunteer experience.
- Provide a holistic approach to developmental education that includes an emphasis on core values, in accordance with the College Statement of Shared Values.
Meet the Staff
Teri Corso, Director

Provides direction and support for Career Services, Student Employment and the Volunteer Center.- Assists students with resume and cover letter writing, job search strategies, internship and volunteer opportunities.
- Works with office staff, faculty and campus colleagues to provide students with special programming related to their career interests.
- Co-coordinates the SCEEP Tutoring Program which provides college students with paid tutoring opportunities during the fall and spring semester.
- As Assistant Director of the Center for Cultures and Communication, supports students in the Diversity Internship program.

Assists students with resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills and career information. - Administer and evaluate Myers Briggs and Self Directed Search Interest Inventory tests and help students make career decisions.
- Provide information on Latino scholarships and internship opportunities.
- Guides students through graduate school decisions and applications.

Office Hours and Email Assistance are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 and 1:30 – 4:30 and by appointment.
