So...you want to do theatre? At Bloomfield College that really means doing theatre. Where else can you do all of the following?
• Act in productions every semester - or even mount your own productions - in a professional 300-seat theatre.
• Sing in the Contemporary Vocal Ensemble under the direction of jazz great Chris White.
• Study video and tv production, learn how things look from the other end of the camera. Perform in your friends' movies!
Not too long ago, the aspiring actor could only seek work in live performance, in Hollywood, or on one of three television networks, but now there are hundreds of cable tv stations, countless independent filmmakers, and the rapid growth of video on the web. The opportunities for performers are multiplying rapidly.

Required Courses - Minor in Theatre
A student wishing to minor in Theatre would have to complete 5.5 course units, as follows:
