In Case of an Emergency, what do you
do?
Depending upon the nature and timing of an emergency, your options are:
- During
counselors' office hours,
walk over to the Third
Floor of the College
Center. Our offices are
Rooms 3 and 5. Knock on our
doors if they are closed. One
of us will see you as
soon as we possibly
can.
- If
it is after hours, notify
the RA on duty if you are a resident or call 748-9000
and Security will decide how best to help you.
- At any time, call 672-9685. This is the 24 crisis line for East Orange General Hospital. In the case of psychiatric emergencies (i.e., someone is an imminent danger to self or others) they will provide transport to the hospital.
