New
Jersey will be hiring thousands of teachers over the next
few years and because the State's population is changing,
school districts are seeking teachers who can work with
diverse populations. The Bloomfield College Office of Teacher
Education, in concert with the College's Career Service
Office, help students in the preparation of resumes, letters
of application as well as assisting in the preparation for
the professional interview. The placement rate of Bloomfield
College teacher education graduates or program completers
is 95%. Prospective teachers may read the Week in Review
section of the Sunday New York Times as well as the Perspective
section of the Sunday Ledger for employment opportunities
in the field.
