Bloomfield College's Teacher Education Program has several unique characteristics. One characteristic is that, beginning with the initial course, students spend time in public schools interacting with teachers and children. These hand-on experiences are built into every course and enable our students to apply theory to practice. Another key aspect to our program is that teachers are prepared to teach with diverse populations and in a variety of school settings.

This is a State-approved program. Graduates of the Bloomfield College Teacher Education Program have a rate of passing the PRAXIS Test (the State-required test for teachers) of 81 %.
