The Library

The new, state-of-the-art Bloomfield College Library is the intellectual nerve center of curricular activities.  With its continuously expanding instructional materials and facilities, it is an indispensable learning resource center of the College.  The Library has a collection of over 64,000 volumes, 385 periodical subscriptions covering all segments of the expanding curricula, approximately 3,000 volumes in an up-to-date reference sources, internet connections to dozens of data banks, over 4,200 reels of microfilm and fiche, over 4,100 musical and non-musical phonograph records, scores, albums, films, and video tape.  Air-conditioned reading rooms and study group rooms, equipped with comfortable study stations provide a pleasant atmosphere for concentrated study, as well as for recreational reading.

The Library hosts poetry readings and book discussions throughout the academic year.  The library also provides meeting space for students and faculty.

Computerized Language Laboratory

Various programs are available for students to improve their skills in listening, reading, writing, and grammar.  The Computerized Language Laboratory is located on the second level of ESLC (Richard's Hall). 

All EAPIS and EAP students are given an email account and have access to computers in the language lab.

Center for Academic Development

Tutoring for English and other college courses are available, free of cost.  Tutorial sessions are provided at Voorhees Hall.
