Bloomfield College ’s membership in the College Consortium for International Studies (CCIS), gives our students access to over 100 Study Abroad programs in more than 30 different countries. These include countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas (North America, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.) The programs provide an excellent opportunity for Bloomfield College students who meet the minimum requirement to study in another country for one semester. Bloomfield College also has an affiliation agreement with the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS), which has more than 40 years of experience in arranging study abroad programs all over the world. You may visit http://www.aifsabroad.com for further information about AIFS sponsored programs.
Students enrolled in the Study Abroad program may continue to receive all Federal, State and Bloomfield College financial aid. In addition, they will be considered for an increase in Bloomfield College Supplemental Grants to help meet the additional costs of studying abroad. This additional grant of up to $1,000 is available for students who have demonstrated financial need and have utilized maximum eligibility under the Stafford Student Loan program.

All applicants for the Study Abroad program must have attained sophomore status with a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.7.
