If you are ready to request a loan please follow the directions below.

Step 1 -

REMINDER:
If you previously borrowed a Federal Stafford Student loan through Bloomfield College, your loan award will automatically be credited to your student account (upon receipt of funds from your lender) unless you tell us otherwise.  Once loan funds are credited, you are responsible for repayment of these loans under the terms of the promissory note.

If you are making changes to your loan amount, please complete and return this form immediately.  Please click here.

Step 2 -

If you have not received your official Financial Aid award loan offer for 2007-2008, check WebAdvisor for online award information.

Step 3 -

If you have not received either an official notice or there is no information on the WebAdvisor page, contact the financial aid office for further instructions.

Step 4 -

We strongly encourage you to refer to the "Tuition and Fees" tab and/or your award letter prior to deciding a loan amount.

Please be further advised that you must visit the Bursars office in order to clear your account and receive your official class schedule. Please contact the Bursars office at extensions: 202, 204 or 206.

THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE
WILL NOT CERTIFY YOUR LOAN IF:

  • You are registered for less than 1.5 course units
  • You are not making satisfactory academic progress
  • You are in default on a student loan

FAILURE TO SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO THE FINANCIAL AID OFFICE WILL RESULT IN THE STUDENT LOAN NOT BEING PROCESSED.

YOUR STUDENT LOAN WILL BE CANCELLED IF:


You do not compete Financial Aid requirements

You drop bellow 1.5 course units
