The
honors program at Bloomfield College is designed for qualified students
who want a challenging interdisciplinary college
experience. The Program provides a unique opportunity for intellectual
development both in
and
out of the classroom.
Growing out of the mission of the College, the purpose of the Program is to enable students to achieve academic, professional and personal excellence.
The Program consists of curricular and co-curricular activities, including:
- Pre-Honors: Special first year course tailored to your unique learning ability.
- Courses: Four self-selected courses for honors credit.
- Honors Colloquium: Series highlighting faculty and student scholarly activities.
- Honors Seminar: Interdisciplinary seminar on topics such as identity, ethics, etc.
- Senior Honors Project: Independant project with a faculty mentor.
- Study Abroad: Designated scholarship available to support study abroad.
