Speed copying of NON-COPYRIGHTED instructional audiotapes may be performed in a matter of minutes. FCC regulations allow taping of television programs within certain guidelines. They may be recorded only upon the specific request by a faculty member, and may be kept on file for no longer than 45 days after the last broadcast; they must then be erased.

Instructors should provide ample notice (at least 4-5 days) to ensure the program being taped. All particulars (date and time of airing, air channel, program length) should be provided when order is placed. After the taping is completed, patron will receive a confirmation slip through inter-office mail listing program title and particulars, as well as erasure date. These tapes may be borrowed by the instructor for home preview
