STUDENT SERVICES

We have an extensive collection of videos, visit our Database page for the full listing!

MEDIA LOANS

VIDEOTAPE & DVD

Videotapes, including video recordings of on-campus events, and DVDs are non-circulating for students, and are kept as a reserve collection.

The exception is the use of a videotape or DVD in a class presentation. Students may view programs here in the Media Center, cue tapes to desired segments, and retrieve tapes the day of the presentation. The student's valid ID card will be held by the Media Center until the videotape is returned the same day.

Students may schedule individual or group viewing at the Media Center, depending on space and equipment availability.

EQUIPMENT LOANS

Students may request the loan of audiovisual equipment for use in a classroom presentation or other academic activity only. Students may use all available equipment while in the Media Center itself. Equipment for classroom use will be issued under the instructor's name, but student will be held personally responsible for the condition, safety and prompt return of the equipment.

Requests should be made at least four days in advance to ensure availability, and must be returned immediately after use. Any problems in operation should be reported as soon as possible by calling ext. 370 or when returning item.

Individual instruction will be provided by the Media Center staff by appointment if requested. Video equipment will not be lent for classroom use without faculty supervision of operation. All accessories (carrying cases, adapters, extension cords, etc.) must be returned with equipment. EQUIPMENT MUST NEVER BE LENT TO A THIRD PARTY.
