The ceremony also served as an official welcome for Gourmet Dining
Services, Bloomfield College’s new food service provider. Gourmet Dining
Services (GDS) has over 20 years’ experience in the food service
industry, primarily servicing colleges and universities. They are also the
food service provider for the Newark Bears minor league baseball team. “We are pleased to welcome GDS and Vincent Cucchiara, our new food
service director,” said Patrick Lamy, associate dean for student
affairs. “Gourmet Dining Services is bringing new ideas and fresh menus
to campus.”
FAST FOOD FRANCHISES COME TO BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE

Thursday, August 31, Bloomfield College held a grand opening for the
Nathan’s and Tex/Mex Express food stations in the College Center on
Liberty Street. The event featured a ribbon cutting, free beverages, and a
raffle for T-shirts and meals.
