COLLEGE HOLDS PET FOOD DRIVE FOR HOLIDAYS
November 21, 2000, Bloomfield, NJ -- The Bloomfield College community will hold its second annual cat and dog food drive for the holidays beginning on November 27.
Collection bins will be placed around the campus through Wednesday, December 20. Last year, under the guidance of Professor Ellen Powley, Bloomfield College collected 344 pounds of pet food for local animal shelters. This year, the College hopes to collect 500 pounds of food for needy animals.
The items to be collected are unopened cans, bags or boxes of cat and dog food.
