PASTINO JOINS BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
December 8, 2000 - The Bloomfield College Board of Trustees recently elected Mary Anne (Mim) Pastino of Chester to its ranks. She joins a group of 27 civic, business and religious leaders who are guiding the College into the 21st century.
“It is a privilege to welcome Mim Pastino to the Board of Trustees,” said Bloomfield College President John F. Noonan. “The College is certain to benefit greatly from her leadership experience and her interest in helping the College fulfill its mission - to prepare students to attain academic, personal and professional excellence in a multicultural and global society.”
Pastino serves as Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager of Cutler Systems Management, Inc. Prior to that, she served as Assistant to the Vice President for Continuing Education at Marymount Manhattan College, and Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bloomfield College. From 1993 to 1995, she was Assistant to the Director of MMD Technical Operations for Merck & Co. in Clinton.
In 1981, Pastino founded Women Without Wives, Inc., a personal service company that specialized in providing working professionals with home services. She has also served as a Research Analyst for Venture Assistance, Inc. and a Travel Consultant for Business Travel Consultants.
As an active member of her community, Pastino has served as president and treasurer of the PTA, a volunteer at Overlook Hospital, and a coordinator of her church music group. She has also coordinated several food drives for the needy.
Pastino received a B.A. from Douglass College, Rutgers University, in American Studies.
