BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE BASEBALL TEAM TO HOST BEEFSTEAK DINNER
February 12, 2001 - The Bloomfield College baseball team invites you to celebrate with them as they kick off a new era of Deacon baseball. The team will host a beefsteak dinner on Saturday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. in Westminster Hall, corner of Fremont Street and Austin Place in Bloomfield.
Prizes and gift baskets will be raffled off at the event. Tickets to the dinner are $30, and are available by calling head coach Mark Rizzi at (973) 748-9000 ext. 791 or by mailing a check, made out to Bloomfield College, to Baseball Office, Bloomfield College, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
The Deacons baseball team will open its 2001 season on Saturday, March 10 with a double-header against nationally-ranked Mercyhurst (PA) College at 12:00 noon at Breslin Field in Lyndhurst. The series will conclude with a single game on Sunday, March 11 at 12:00 noon.
