BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE TEAMS UP WITH NEWARK BEARS FOR THREE GAMES
April 12, 2001, Bloomfield, NJ - Bloomfield College and the Newark Bears invite you to join them for a “triple play” - you can support Bloomfield College baseball by attending three great baseball games at the Bears’ home, Riverfront Stadium in Newark.
The Bloomfield College Deacons will host the Teikyo Post University Eagles for a double-header at Riverfront Stadium at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. The Deacons will also take on Concordia College at Riverfront Stadium at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 26. Both games are free, and the public is invited to attend.
Bloomfield College is also sponsoring a special “Night at the Ballpark” and is selling tickets to the Tuesday, May 15 match-up between the Newark Bears and the Somerset Patriots. Game time is 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $6 and may be purchased through the Bloomfield College Business Office, (973) 748-9000 ext. 204. The Business Office is located in Knox Hall on Franklin Street in Bloomfield, and is open from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. on Mondays. Your additional donations will help fund Bloomfield College athletic programs.
