ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE TO HOST OPEN HOUSE

Bloomfield, NJ -- The Advanced Technology Institute (ATI) at Bloomfield College will host an open house on Friday, October 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the theatre on the lower level of the Bloomfield College Library.

The event will include information sessions about the Institute’s authorized certification programs, an overview of services, and tours of the labs. Prospective students will have an opportunity to speak with ATI instructors and learn about the job placement assistance program.

The Advanced Technology Institute was founded in 1998 - a timely response to the state’s shortage of highly skilled IT professionals. To help professionals advance in today’s technological workforce, Bloomfield College became the first four-year college in New Jersey to offer Microsoft and Cisco certification training. ATI at Bloomfield College recently expanded its program to include on-site as well as on-campus training, and now offers additional certification programs for Oracle, Sun, CIW Webmaster, and Check Point.

The Institute’s hands-on approach to technical training empowers students of all skill levels, including many Fortune 500 employees, with the tools they need to generate success for themselves and their companies.

“IT managers must be able to rely on a team that has mastered specific skill sets,” said Dr. Peter K. Jeong, Vice President of the Advanced Technology Institute at Bloomfield College. “Vendor-authorized certifications play a key role in determining which job candidates possess the right skills. With vendor-authorized certifications, IT professionals can stand out in the crowd.”

Bloomfield College is easily accessible off Exit 148 from the Garden State Parkway North, or Exit 149, Garden State Parkway South. The Bloomfield College Library is located on the corner of Liberty Street and Oakland Avenue in Bloomfield. To reserve your seat at the open house, or for more information call the Advanced Technology Institute at (973) 748-9000 ext. 117 or visit online at http://ati.bloomfield.edu.
