ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE TO HOST CISCO OPEN HOUSE
The Advanced Technology Institute at Bloomfield College (http://ati.bloomfield.edu) will host an open house for its Cisco Certification Program on Thursday, November 1.
The open house will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the theatre in the lower level of the Bloomfield College Library, corner of Liberty Street and Oakland Avenue in Bloomfield.
“This is a great opportunity for prospective students to speak to our instructors, spend time in our state-of-the-art labs, explore all of our programs and services, and take advantage of priority registration,” said Peter Jeong, Vice President of The Advanced Technology Institute at Bloomfield College.
The Cisco program, authorized by computer networking leader Cisco Systems, is designed to help computer-literate individuals earn certification and prepare for careers in networking.
The program allows students to be certified at various technical proficiency levels including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), average salary $59,770; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), average salary $85,000 with 2 to 3 years experience; and Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE), average salary $150,000.
CCNAs focus on relatively simple networks, while CCNPs have the expertise to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot more complex Cisco-based networks. CCIEs represent the highest attainable certification level under Cisco Certifications and ideally possess at least two years of on-the-job experience in addition to the knowledge associated with the CCNP level.
Advanced Technology Institute programs feature state-of-the art labs and equipment, free lab hours, and certified instructors.
Bloomfield College is located off Exit 148 Garden State Parkway North, or Exit 149, Garden State Parkway South. To reserve your seat at the open house, or for more information call the Advanced Technology Institute at (973) 748-9000 ext. 117 or visit online at http://ati.bloomfield.edu.
