NURSING STUDENTS OFFER FACTS ABOUT CHILD CAR SEAT SAFETY

April 9, 2002, Bloomfield, NJ -- Nursing students Avril Higgins, Jenee David and Angelic DeJesus will present an informational session about child car seat safety on Wednesday, April 24 from 11 a.m. to noon in the Science Building, Nursing Learning Lab, Room 34.

The students, who are juniors in Professor Donna Naturale’s Health Promotion II class, will offer facts about correct child car seat installment. Individuals will learn numerous safety tips including which car seat is the best for their child’s age and weight. The students will also present information about New Jersey’s child restraint laws.

The event is free and the public is invited to attend. The Science Building is located on the corner of Liberty and Spruce Streets in Bloomfield.
