August 26, 2002, Bloomfield, NJ -- Neera Kapoor, a senior accounting
major at Bloomfield College, recently received a $1,300 scholarship from the
Datatel Scholars Foundation.
The Foundation awards scholarships to eligible students who attend a higher learning institution selected from Datatel’s nearly 600 client sites. The scholarships serve as a focus of the company’s philanthropy, and nearly $2,500,000 has been awarded since the Foundation began in 1990. Kapoor is a member of Delta Mu Delta, a business honor society, and has also received the Lester H. Clee Scholarship and the Deans’ Scholarship Award, which are given to students who have demonstrated academic excellence, community service, and leadership capacity. |

and tutored fellow students.
Last summer, Kapoor worked as an intern at TMP Worldwide, the parent company of Monster.com.
