KRIEGER JOINS BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE FACULTY

September 10, 2002, Bloomfield, NJ -- Nora Krieger, Ph.D. has joined Bloomfield College as an assistant professor of Early Childhood Education.

Dr. Krieger comes to Bloomfield College from Rowan University, where she served as an assistant professor of Early Childhood Education. Prior to that, she was a part-time assistant professor and supervisor of student teachers at New York University. She also has taught at Middlesex County College; Highland Park High School; United Nations School in Geneva, Switzerland; Irving School in Highland Park, and Community School 6 in Bronx, New York.

From 1987 to 1996, Dr. Krieger served as director of the Pine Grove Cooperative Nursery School in Piscataway.

Dr. Krieger is a former vice president and member of the Highland Park Board of Education, and is a past-president of the Highland Park Public Library Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Highland Park Public Library.

She earned a B.A. in Sociology and an M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Queens College, CUNY, and completed her Ph.D. in Educational Administration at New York University.
