COMMUNITY MEDICAL CENTER STUDENTS VISIT BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE

September 27, 2002, Bloomfield, NJ -- Twenty RN students from Community Medical Center in Toms River, who are pursuing their Bachelor of Science degrees from the Bloomfield College Presbyterian Division of Nursing, recently visited the Bloomfield campus for the first time.

The RN students were welcomed by Dr. Carolyn R. Tuella, Chairperson of the Presbyterian Division of Nursing and Dr. Ilona H. Anderson, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty, at a special reception in the their honor. The students also participated in a workshop on Internet research with Mark Jackson, Reference and Online Resources Librarian at the College.

Bloomfield College provides a baccalaureate degree nursing program for freshmen and transfer students. Registered nurses who are graduates of diploma and associate degree programs can apply for admission to the RN/BSN track. The RN/BSN program is offered on campus in Bloomfield and off-campus at Community Medical Center in Toms River.
