UBEROI JOINS BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
October 7, 2002, Bloomfield, NJ -- The Bloomfield College Board of Trustees recently elected Hank Uberoi of Montclair to its ranks. He joins a group of 30 civic, business, and religious leaders who will guide the College into the 21st century.

Shelby, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. “The College is certain to benefit greatly from his leadership experience and interest in helping the College fulfill its mission - to prepare students to attain academic, personal and professional excellence in a multicultural and global society.”

Hank Uberoi is the Co-Chief Operating Officer of the Global Technology Division at Goldman Sachs, based in New York City. The Technology Division employs more than 3,500 people around the world at sites including New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Chicago, Zurich, and Frankfurt. The group is involved in overall systems and infrastructure development and support, e-commerce initiatives, analytics, new business development and strategy, and business re-engineering initiatives.
Prior to this, Uberoi was responsible for the Global Equities and Wealth Management Technology groups. He has been at Goldman Sachs for 12 years, five of which he spent in London.
Mr. Uberoi has degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Williams College in Massachusetts.
