BLOOMFIELD COLLEGE HOSTS SOFTBALL CLINIC
February 5, 2003, Bloomfield, NJ - The Bloomfield College Athletic Department is sponsoring a Softball Clinic for girls from grades 1-12.
The softball clinic will be held on Sunday, February 23 at the Bloomfield College Gym, located on the corner of Liberty Street and Oakland Avenue. Instructors include: Bloomfield College’s Lady Deacons Softball Team, Anthony Nesto, Head Softball Coach; and Jaime Peterson, Assistant Coach. Guest instructors include: Bloomfield High School’s Bob Mayer, Head Softball Coach; and Fred Celluro, Head Softball Coach of the Bloomfield Recreation Summer Traveling Team.
Grades 1-4 will be held from 9-11:00 a.m., grades 5-6 will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., grades 7-8 will be held from 1-3:00 p.m., and grades 9-12 will be held from 3-5:00 p.m. Please bring your own glove or bat if you have one.
For pre-registration, the cost will be $20.00 by mail only, when received by February 19th. At the door, the cost will be $22.00, and a parent/guardian must sign a permission slip. All proceeds will directly aid the Lady Deacons’ Spring Training trip.
