Director’s Statement of Purpose:
The Office of Co-Curricular Programs contributes to the Bloomfield College community by offering an array of programs, activities, workshops, and other experiences designed to bridge the gap between student learning and development inside and outside of the classroom. The CCP Office also serves the community through its coordination of the Bloomfield College Yearbook, the Bloomfield College Student Planner, The Bloomfield College Student Government, the STEP (Student Training Empowerment Project) Leadership Series, and the DEEP (Diversity Education Empowerment Project) Retreat.
In support of its overall purpose, CCP actively seeks opportunities for collaboration with other areas within student and academic affairs as the chief means to ensure that each student experiences the best that the College has to offer inside and outside of the classroom.
CCP Student Activities Assistant Staff Statement of Purpose:
The CCP staff
mission is to present our fellow classmates with effective
programs and activities, giving them the opportunity to be involved with campus
life, while attending Bloomfield College. In providing these
services,
we help maintain an effective college atmosphere for
the entire student population, by sponsoring and co-sponsoring trips, talent
shows, parties, formal
dances,
and two leadership retreats (STEP and DEEP Retreat). The CCP
staff also contributes services to the Bloomfield College Student Government.
However,
our major role
on campus is to present each student with the opportunity to
be involved in campus life outside of the classroom; which makes the CCP department
very
unique.
