Nomination Process

A Nominations Form is submitted by a college staff member or a representative for an organization connected with a student between the 5 th and the 25 th day of October, November, February, March and April. The completed Nomination Form is reviewed by the Central Student Affairs Office and a representative of the Executive Board of the Bloomfield College Student Government (BCSG). The Student Affairs Office and an executive member of the BCSG will select and publish the profile of one student via the College’s Website on the 1 st November, December, March, April, and May. A student can only be acknowledged and profiled in Portraits of Excellence once per semester. All nominated students must meet the following minimum criteria before review of submitted nominations by Student Affairs and BCSG.

  • Current enrollment and matriculation at the College on a part or fulltime basis
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher (Except for newly enrolled students w/o GPAs)
  • A clear disciplinary/behavioral record with the College (No written warnings/reprimands in any form).
