Residential Education and Housing Program

The mission of the Residential Education and Housing Program at Bloomfield College is to create a service oriented support living environment providing a variety of housing options and programs. The living environment that is created for students is conducive to students’ academic personal and social development. Great emphasis is placed on the commitment to the growth and development of the student as a whole. In order for a student to develop, it is essential that a sense of “community” be established. Recognizing residence facilities as potential communities, and working with residents to develop them as such; is central to the mission of the Residential Education and Housing Program. It is expected that students will contribute positively to their community, as involvement is paramount to personal fulfillment and growth.
